Ever since I was a kid, I kept getting constantly attacked by cold. It would be quite rare to find me cold-free. And, most of the time, I would find it hard to breathe. But over the years, my colds have become less recurrent, and I’ve quite mastered the art of managing this irksome disease- through experience.
And a lot of people would agree with me when I say colds can be a real pain when you have something really important coming up. But don’t worry, I’ve got some tips for you that might come in handy.
Steaming is one of the best ways to make you feel better when you have a bad head- cold. Put in all your favourite herbs in a vessel of water and boil it. Cover yourself, and the vessel with a blanket, so that the steam doesn’t go out, and inhale. Most of your cold will be expelled in the form of sweat. And, steaming is also good for the skin! Just take care not to do it too often.
Apply some cold balm and just relax yourself. You don’t necessarily have to sleep, just lie down and relax.
Drink lots of water and hot tea. This always helps me. Taking a hot shower is also good. Try not to exert yourself doing anything unnecessary. You’ll need all the strength you can get!
